The Craving Gaze

Edit: Added a shade to his foot, he didn't have any, cropped some useless lines and ajusted the brightness and Contrast, Not a huge change but oh well ^_^

The only Picture I ever made with Gondahir where he actually looks good.
I said to myself: There can't be! I have to make him look good! He's a handsome man, for crying out loud!

The story behind this drawing is a fairly simple one, that doesn't appear in the novel, yet you can deduce it from the story. Gondahir ever since he set eyes on the image of Dhonia has been burned by a strong urge to have her... like a rake does T_T Even if I do like this character so so much, I can't get past the fact he's a wanton and he looks at the innocent girl with craving eyes.
The things that spew from his fingers are fumes and in Photoshop I'll add a veil of glimmers around them. He's a swordsman and a bowman, yet I chose not to draw the bow because it's frail, a symbol of distance and caution, something which he doesn't have.

This is more than a sketch, spent 2 h for it, because I really wanted to make him look good. Uh... I failed >>>> the armpit hair...
