The Waltz in a Crimson Hall - Christa x Nathan

This is 1/5th of the drawings I did for ~Adachy as a result of reading bit by bit her steampunk style novel (in making)
I offered to make these two characters, but I just had so many ideas that from 1 drawing, I ended up making 5 I truly enjoyed drawing these two. Christa and Nathan are characters from her currently unnamed novel and they are the ones I like maybe the most, because there is connection and conflict between them, she being a girl who abides the rules of society and he is the freak of 2 meters in height which does not seem to care one bit for courtesy and norms imposed by society. Their mesh makes me anticipate what will happen further in my reading and I have to say: Nathan is awesome!

This is a depiction of them, how they are dancing in one chapter of the novel and it's funny that in order for them to be more comfortable waltzing, they have to stay really close to each other, something the people around them find a thing to gossip about. Let them speak! I like them just as they are
